Kamran Rana is the Group CFO and Partner at Exage Technologies Group, where he drives financial strategy and operations for a pioneering portfolio of companies at the forefront of digital transformation, cybersecurity, systems integration, and innovative product apps. Kamran’s leadership spans a diverse and dynamic range of industries, where he is known for his ability to align financial strategy with business growth, operational efficiency, and technological innovation. 
With over 16 years of experience, Kamran has excelled in key leadership roles, including Chief Financial Officer for one of Canada’s fastest-growing marketing coalitions, where he oversaw the financial turnaround and led them through a fund raise. Kamran was also the Vice President of Finance & Operations at Netagen, a portfolio company of a Canadian Private Equity Firm. His work in private equity, managing companies with P&L accountability exceeding $200M, has given him a comprehensive understanding of mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, and corporate strategy. 
Kamran’s expertise extends beyond traditional finance roles, encompassing capital raising, M&A due diligence, operational restructuring, and performance turnarounds. He has successfully built and led high-performing teams, revitalized financial processes, and delivered measurable improvements in profitability and cash flow management. 
In his new role at Exage Technologies Group, Kamran’s strategic vision and financial acumen are helping to guide the company’s ambitious growth, leveraging cutting-edge technology to build resilient Portfolio Companies and unlock new opportunities. Kamran remains partnered with Mason Capital, empowering mid-market enterprises (SMEs) across Canada to achieve financial clarity, optimize cash flow, and support sustainable growth.
